Read facts and quotes about our Godly American Heritage

Vincente Fox, the former President of Mexico, was recently invited to speak to some of Oklahoma's brightest students and business leaders. He used the opportunity to push the proposed North American Union between Mexico, Canada and the USA which in fruition would effectively eliminate our status as a Sovereign Nation.

Why would we ask the leader of a failing socialist regime whose country is overrun by drug lords and terrorists while tens of thousands of its citizens attempt to illegally escape into America every year his opinions about how we should run our country?

Something to think about.

"History will also afford frequent opportunities of showing the necessity of a public religion...and the excellency of the Christian religion above all others, ancient or modern."

"The laws of nature and of nature's God...of course presupposes the existence of a God, the moral ruler of the universe, and a rule of right and wrong, of just and unjust, binding upon man, preceding all institutions of human society and of government."

John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the United States

An excerpt from the Constitution of the New England Confederation, May 19, 1643:

“Whereas we all came to these parts of America with the same end and aim, namely to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel thereof with purities and peace, and for preserving and propagating the truth and liberties of the gospel…” ____________________________________________________________________________
On February 22, 1756, John Adams made the entry in his diary, his idea of a ‘Utopian Nation’:
Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged  in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God…What a Utopia, what a Paradise   this region would be.

John Adams was a member of the Continental Congress, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and was the 2nd President of the United States.

"The great enemy of the salvation of man, in my opinion, never invented a more effectual way of extirpating Christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was important to read the Bible at schools."
Dr. Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, the Surgeon General of the Continental Army; remembered as the 'Father of Public Schools.'

"It appears we have appointed our worst generals to command forces, and our most gifted and brilliant to edit newspapers! In fact, I discovered by reading newspapers that these editor/geniuses plainly saw all my strategic defects from the start, yet failed to inform me until it was too late.

Accordingly, I'm readily willing to yield my command to these obviously superior intellects, and I'll, in turn, do my best for the Cause by writing editorials - after the fact."

                                                                                    Robert E. Lee, 1863

"In regard to this Great Book (the Bible), I have but to say, I believe the Bible is the best gift God has given to man.  All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book.  But for this Book we could not know right from wrong.  All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it."

                                                                                    President Abraham Lincoln
